Credo

I have no reason to be proud;
I did not create the mind
That inhabits this body. I am the body;
I am the hand, a tool
That the mind uses to record its message.
This body will surely die.

I have no reason to be proud;
I did not create the body I possess;
Nor did I create myself. I am the mind;
I am only a tool of the universal mind.

I have no reason to be proud;
I have no purpose but to serve
In the noblest way I can.
This I must do, without the prejudice of pride
Or the security of greed;
By serving only God, I serve myself!
